You'll be in a private room with a sugarist who does this all day. Hair should be about a quarter inch long — roughly one to two weeks after shaving or clipping. Skip lotion and deodorant on the areas being treated, and give yourself a full 24 hours before the gym, a sauna or a pool afterwards. A chest and stomach appointment runs about 45 minutes; a full back is closer to 30.
