Safe for sensitive and treated skin

Clients with rosacea, eczema and reactive skin come to us specifically because sugaring doesn't strip the barrier. That said, active retinoids, prescription acne medication, chemical peels and strong acids all change how your skin responds — tell your sugarist what you're using and they'll adjust the plan or recommend waiting a few days. We would always rather reschedule than compromise your skin.

Aftercare that actually works

Skip heavy makeup for the rest of the day, avoid direct sun, saunas and heat for 24 hours, and keep the area clean and lightly hydrated. From day three onward, gentle exfoliation two or three times a week prevents any trapped hairs. Most facial clients come back every three to four weeks, and many pair facial sugaring with one of our Glow facials for a full reset in a single visit.
